The Grand Union Party (BBP) was established on January 29, 1993 by Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu. The party’s logo is a rose in a crescent.
The Grand Union Party joined the 27 March 1994 local elections, 8 April 1999 local elections and general election, 28 March 2009 local elections, and 2 June 2011 general election with its own name and logo. In 24 December 1995 general election, it formed an alliance with the Motherland Party (ANAVATAN, formerly known as ANAP) and entered the parliament.
BBP did not participate in the 22 July 2007 general election, but nominated independent candidates in many provinces. The party participated in the 7 June 2015 general election under the name of Felicity Party.
After Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu died in a helicopter accident on March 25, 2009, Yalçın Topçu was elected as the party chairman in 2009 and served for two years. After that, Mustafa Destici was elected as the chairman in 2011.
