The Sudan-Turkey Vocational and Technical Instructor Education Center which was initiated in collaboration with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Çankırı Karatekin University's Vocational School offers international education in nine different fields. In his statement to Anadolu Agency, director of Çankırı Karatekin University's Vocational School, Professor Rıza Gürbüz, said that Sudan's most effective and modern education centers were built by Turks.

Reminding that the Sudan-Turkey Vocational and Technical Instructor Educational Center which was opened jointly with TİKA in 2013, Gürbüz said, "The education center is spread over a 5,000 square meter area. The school provides education which meets with the international requirements in machine technologies, mechatronics, furniture and decoration, air-conditioning and cooling, electric, electronic, computer programing and tourism and hotel management." So far, nearly 1,000 people received education in the center.

Gürbüz informed that 45 of the 51 people who currently work at the center are teachers. The teachers at the center were trained by the instructors from Turkish universities as well Sudanese schools. Apart from the Turkish education center, there are other centers established by the Japanese, European Union and Malaysians in Sudan. "However, Turkey's education center stands out among others considering its influence, productivity and modernity," Gürbüz claimed. Çankırı Karatekin University and TİKA worked hand in hand to establish this education center in Sudan. This center is a flattering accomplishment for Turkey," he concluded.
