The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CRBT) has disclosed the manufacturing industry capacity utilization rate for March 2015. Accordingly, the capacity utilization rate in the overall manufacturing industry in March 2015 stood at 72.4 percent, with a decrease of 0.4 percent when compared to the previous month. In March 2015, 2,649 workplaces operating in the manufacturing industry were sent an Economic Orientation survey with 2,175 responding. According to the answers, the seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate in the overall manufacturing industry was realized at 73.9, dropping by 0.2 percent when compared to the previous month. As far as the capacity utilization rates for product groups in March 2015 are concerned, durable consumer goods and investment goods increased while intermediate goods, consumer non-durables and food and drink decreased when compared to the previous month.
