Turkey's Central Bank ranks first in corporate tax


ANKARA — Turkey's Revenue Administration has released the tax revenue reports of 2013. According to the report, 151 billion 286 million 386 thousand lira (aprx.$72 billion) revenue tax was declared in 2013.The Central Bank made the top of the list being the tax champion of 2013, by paying nearly 900 million Turkish Liras (aprx. $433M ).The state-run Ziraat Bank ranked second in the list, with 627 million ($224M), followed by the Electricity Generation Company.The top 10 of the list includes six companies from Istanbul and four from the capital city of Ankara.And among the private companies, Turkcell ranked first place in Corporate Tax, paying 590.922.342,24 TL (aprx. $269M).
