The owner of a Stockholm venue where AK Party's Deputy Chair Mehdi Eker was due to hold a rally addressing Turkish nationals today, has canceled the rental contract early Sunday.
The venue owner told the Doğan News Agency that the rally will not take place in his venue, and did not cite a reason for his decision.
Communications Officer for Sweden's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kent Öberg, said that there is freedom of speech in his country and that anyone has a right to hold a meeting and speak.
