Big Big World (2016)
Director: Reha Erdem
How can two children survive in a big world while their parents failed to take responsibility of them or even didn't want them? Is growing up a way out or does it bring more cruelties in life? Are the walls of an orphanage a prison or protection from the big and dark world outside for orphans? Ali and Zuhal are two young people who have grown up in an orphanage, and it is believed that they are actually siblings. Even if they are not, they become as close as siblings through time and desolation. Directed by Reha Erdem, the film starts when Ali and Zuhal defenselessly fall in the middle of the big world outside the orphanage. The premier of the film took place in Venice.
