Nine films debut in Turkish theaters this week
Genius
The directorial debut of Michael Grandage is adapted to the silver screen from A. Scott Berg's novel "Max Perkins: Editor of Genius." Starring Nicole Kidman, Jude Law, Guy Pearce and Colin Firth, the film portrays the strange friendship between a prominent editor and an upcoming novelist.
Now You See Me 2
The sequel of the 2013 film "Now You See Me," starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Caine, Lizzy Caplan and Dave Franco, is directed by Jon M. Chu. The film focuses on the magician group known as "The Horsemen" and their return to the stage after making a fool of the FBI and conquering people's hearts by acting as modern day Robin Hoods. This time the band of magicians roll up their sleeves to take off the mask of the sinister character of Owen Case.
Precious Cargo
Starring Bruce Willis, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Claire Forlani in the leading roles, the action film "Precious Cargo" tells the story of a professional thief who fails during a job and tries to find a way to make up to his boss with the help of another thief, his girlfriend.
Belgica
Directed by Felix van Groeningen, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his previous film "The Broken Circle," the drama film "Belgica" follows two brothers who start a bar and get swept up in its success in the midst of Belgium's nightlife scene. The film features Stef Aerts, Tom Vermeir, Helene Devos and Charlotte Vandermeersch in the leading roles.

This Bollywood romantic comedy, starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, tells the story of a girl who rejects the idea of being a housewife. Dreaming of being a businesswoman, the young girl travels to Delhi; however, a man she meets on the plane makes everything complicated for her. The film is directed by R. Balki.
The Conjuring 2: The Enfield PoltergeistStarring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Frances O'Connor and Madison Wolfe, the horror film recounts paranormal activity investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren's adventures with demons and sinister spirits.
Sekerat: Final
The Turkish horror film "Sekerat: Final" focuses on the experiences of dying people who see things that no other people can see during their last minutes alive. Starring Meltem Miraloğlu, Batuhan Aydar, Almila Kuruoğlu and Emre Koç, the film is directed by Şeyda Şen.

Turkish director Mete Sözer's film tells the story of a chain of unexpected events when a mysterious stranger who investigates his dark and deadly past arrives in a small rundown town. The film stars Engin Altan Düzyatan, Cem Davrn and İlyas Salman.
Zootopia
In a city that is populated by animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy. The animation film of the week "Zootopia" is directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore and dubbed by Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba and Jenny Slate.
