Six films debut this week in Turkish theaters
Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeStarring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter, one of the most anticipated films of this year, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" was directed by visionary director Zack Snyder. Affleck, who plays Batman, and Cavil, who previously played Superman, will feature on the silver screen together for the first time. While the world is trying to decide what kind of a hero they need, Superman's irrational behavior raises concerns. Although he is still a symbol of hope for some people in Metropolis, a growing number consider him a threat to humanity. As far as Bruce Wayne, as Batman and the law protector of Gotham, is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world with such a reckless individual left ungoverned, and so dons his mask and cape to right Superman's wrongs. The rivalry between Batman and Superman poses one of the biggest dangers that the world ever face.A Walk in the WoodsAdapted to the screen from the namesake novel by Bill Bryson, the film follows an elderly man who returns to his homeland after spending two years in the U.K. He gets in touch with his old friends and his return allows him to remember the good days and come to terms with himself. Directed by Ken Kwapis, the film features Robert Redford, Nick Nolte, Emma Thompson, Mary Steenburgen and Nick Offerman in the leading roles.Hatıraların Masumiyeti (Innocence of Memories)Directed by accomplished documentary filmmaker and music video director Grant Gee, this film is adapted to the silver screen from the novel "Museum of Innocence" by Nobel Prize winning author Orhan Pamuk. Starring Ayla Pandora Colin, Kemal Mehmet Ergen, Ara Güler, Türkan Şoray and Süleyman Fidaye, the film tells the stories of objects that witnessed the tragic love story of Kemal and Füsun in the 1970s.Azazil 2: Büyü (Azazel 2: Sorcery)The sequel to the 2014 film "Azazel: Knot," the horror production of the week was directed by Mustafa Özen and stars Sertan Erkaçan, Tuğçe Kurşunoğlu and Ayşe Kuru in leading roles. Azazel's new target is a couple whose family ties have worsened after the birth of their child. Using this unhappy marriage, Azazel casts a spell on the family members.Sol Şerit (Left Lane)Set in Ankara, Eskişehir and Denizli, "Sol Şerit" is about an exciting and adventurous road trip of three close friends. Starring Sertan Erkaçan, Cem Aksakal, Deniz Baysal, Ceyda Ateş, Fatih Al, Burak Satıbol, Özgürcan Çevik, Ayten Uncuoğlu and Hikmet Karagöz and was directed by İnci Balabanoğlu Ahıska.Leblebi Tozu (Chickpea Dust)Written by Nimet Erdem and Kudret Ayşe Yılmaz and directed by Hakan Eser, the film stars actors Metin Yıldız, Fulden Akyürek, Ferdi Kurtuldu and Cengiz Okuyucu in the leading roles. The comedy follows a group of friends who try to get rich through fraud.
