Make them an offer they can't refuse and a massive collection of "The Godfather" author Mario Puzo's papers can be yours.
The 45-box archive, including multiple drafts with handwritten revisions to the novel and the screenplay, is being auctioned by Boston-based RR Auction on Feb. 18.
It's expected to fetch at least $400,000.
The collection covers Puzo's entire career but the thousands of pages of "The Godfather" documents are the highlight.
The manuscripts include some tweaks to one of the most famous movie quotes of all time: "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."
The collection also includes a letter Puzo wrote to Marlon Brando expressing disappointment that Brando would not play the lead role, Don Vito Corleone. Brando eventually got the part.
