Türkiye's unemployment rate in July dropped to 9.4%, official data showed Monday.
The figure was down by 0.2% percentage points month-over-month, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) said.
The number of unemployed individuals aged 15 and above decreased by 38,000 to 3.29 million in July, the data showed.
The unemployment rate was at 7.6% for men and 12.9% for women.
A seasonally adjusted measure of labor underutilization fell 1.5 percentage points to 22.7%, the authority said.
The labor underutilization measure has largely slid since early 2021 but has risen slightly in recent months.
The employment rate came in at 48.4% in July, up by 0.5 percentage points month-over-month.
The data showed the labor force participation rate in July rose to 53.4% from 53% a month earlier.
