Filli Boya, one of the most important companies in the paint industry, has recycled 3,382 tons of waste that was generated during its production and service activities in 2015.The recycling initiative helped both the environment as well as the economy. The brand is renowned for its energy efficient applications, its belief in sustainability and for creating environmentally friendly policies.Cited as a company that is setting an example by environmentalist intuitions and nongovernmental organizations, Filli Boya separates the waste resulting from its operations into three categories: Packaging waste, recyclable hazardous waste and non-recyclable hazardous waste from its plants at the Waste Storage and Recycling Center in Gebze, Istanbul.The 152,000 square-meter plant has an annual production capacity of 348,000 tons and enables industrial waste to be reused as raw materials.
