Confidence in retail trade rises, falls for services, construction

According to January's seasonally adjusted confidence indices released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), the service sector's confidence index, which was 99.02 in December 2015, fell to 92.53, a 6.6 percent decrease.
The retail trade confidence index rose 3.6 percent in January compared to the previous month, and the seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence index increased to 108.76 in January.
The seasonally adjusted construction sector confidence index, which was 85.11 in the previous month, fell to 83.91 in January, a 1.4 percent decrease compared to the previous month.
