The Turkish business world recently came together to establish an organization to serve as an intermediary between consumers, businesses and the government. The organization, which will be led by a committee of at least 50 businessmen, will be known as the "white-haired committee." The organization will include experienced professionals from reputable business associations such as the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO), Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO), Independent Industrialist' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) and Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD). Efforts to form such a committee began as businessmen grew eager to understand and solve their problems prior to the elections in June and November.
