Doğuş Holding, which is among the top three largest private sector conglomerates in Turkey and has made a name for itself recently by purchasing luxury restaurants, chose to grow by expanding into hotel management in Europe. Having won the tender for the famous Astis Palace hotel located in Greece and partnered with Capri Palace, which delivers service to the wealthy Italy, Doğuş Holding entered the Croatian market with its D-Resort Sibernik. Established with a $60 million investment, D-Resort Sibernik is the first hotel abroad under Doğuş Holding's D-Resort brand. The hotel is spread over a 45,000-square-meter area. D-Resort Sibernik has 69 rooms and three 150-square-meter VIP villas each with a special pool. There is also a 150 bed-capacity hotel yacht club. The most important investments of Doğuş Holding are located in Turkey's Aegean and Mediterranean regions under the umbrella of D-Hotels and Resorts. Doğuş Holding tourism portfolio includes the Park Hyatt Istanbul, Maçka Palas, Grand Hyatt Istanbul, Soho House Istanbul, Maritim Hotel Club Alantur, Argos in Cappadocia, Maçakızı Bodrum, D-Hotel Maris, D-Resort Grand Azur Marmaris, D-Resort Göçek and Rixos Downtown Antalya.
