Airlines to cover demand during Ramadan eid with extra flights


Airline companies have begun the preparations for the likely increase in air travel after Ramadan during eid. Most holidaymakers prefer traveling to their vacation spots by plane, therefore the demand is expected to peak during the period following Ramadan. Turkish Airlines (THY) plans to meet customer demand during eid with 17 additional domestic flights. Apart from these, THY will increase the daily flight numbers to Antalya by two, Dalaman by three, Trabzon by one and Bodrum by 11. AtlasGlobal Airlines, whose domestic flights to Bodrum, Dalaman, İzmir and Antalya, and international flights to Amsterdam, Paris, Dusseldorf, Cologne and Cyprus are in high demand, will schedule additional flights to London, Kuwait and Tehran. Onur Air has already scheduled extra flights to İzmir, Bodrum, Dalaman, Antalya, Trabzon and Adana for eid, and is planning to provide service to 160,000 customers. Airline companies mainly choose the domestic destinations of Antalya, Bodrum, İzmir, Dalaman, Trabzon and Adana as well as the international destinations of Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna and Cyprus to provide additional flights during eid.
