Invitation to Turk City project from China


According to an announcement by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO), Zhang Xiangan, the Mayor of Chuzhou City - which is in China's Anhui State - and the accompanying committee visited Salih Bezci, the chairman of the board of the directors of ATO. Xiangan revealed information on the new Silk Road project, which has been declared as a state project by the People's Republic of China and will start in China and reach out to Turkey. Noting that they are working on establishing a Turkish trade, industry, culture, education, health and tourism center in the cities located on the Silk Road under the name "Turk City," Xiangan stated that they are intending to welcome 1,500 Turkish firms at this center. He also announced that the offices, shops and industrial lands to be allocated to Turkish firm at this center will be exempt from paying any rent for the first three years. Xiangan noted that their aim is to ensure that the public of China is informed of Turkey and Turkish products without visiting Turkey.
