Negotiations on Ro-Ro agreement continue

Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci answered questions on the maritime and land transit transportation (Ro-Ro) established between Turkey and Egypt and Egypt and Saudi Arabia, which will come to an end in April. He underlined that there have been problems between Turkey and Egypt, which are political, but according to his opinion are temporary, however, both economic negotiations and discussions between ministries have been very positive. He underlined that the negotiations for the renewal of the agreement are still continuing and added that there is a historic, long-established relation between Egypt and Turkey, which, while suffering from time to time, will continue strongly. Zeybekci also underlined that if no agreement can be reached, Turkey has different alternatives just like Turkey had problems with Iraq, but could come up with other alternatives.
