Istanbul city council decided by unanimous vote to extend the duration of the 50 percent fee discount on the Kadıköy-Kartal subway line until August 1.According to the previous decision, the discount would be valid until December 31, 2014.Yet, to help people pick up the habit of using the rail systems more effectively, a joint report was prepared by the Transportation and Traffic Commission and the Planning and Budget Commission and was approved by the city council.
