Madame Cashmere takes on Paris
Silk & Cashmere has now opened up in the heart of fashion, Paris. Having already opened a store in St. Germain, known for hosting internationally famous brands, Silk & Cashmere's new objective is to enter the Chinese and Iranian markets.
Silk & Cashmere has opened a shop on Paris' prestigious Boulevard Saint Germain, which is known to house a number of internationally famed brands. Explaining that the staff has gone back and forth to Paris for a year now in order to open the shop, owner of Silk & Cashmere Ayşen Zamanpur states, "We were torn between St. Germain and Champs Elysees however St. Germain is more befitting for our brand. My first impressions of Paris are quite positive. We may open a few more stores." Mentioning that they have been exporting to the French market for many years now, Zamanpur states that they plan to impress the French with 449 models. Zamanpur explains that the collection they plan to sell in France was created with the aid of a French consultant they met at Pret-a- Porter. Zamanpur states, "The success of our store in Zurich is what gave us the most courage. We got help form a consultant from Chanel in selecting our collection for the Zurich store. We do not create a special collection for these markets; we select the most suitable products from our own collection." According to Zamanpur, the Paris store has impressed the Japanese and Mexicans just as much as it has done so with the French.
CHINA AND IRAN ARE NEXT.
Ayşen Zamanpur also announced that Silk & Cashmere, which at present has 142 sales points in 22 different countries, 12 of which are international stores, is planning to enter both the Iranian and Chinese markets this September or October.
