Istanbul Kitapçısı, an Istanbul-based bookstore, has opened a new store at a metro entrance. It is expected that more passengers will be seen reading books on public transport, a common occurrence in European and Far Eastern countries. Istanbul Kitapçısı is offering its services with its nine shops in Beyoğlu, the KadıköyCity line Ferry Port, the Eminönü Katip Çelebi Port, the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall, Süleymaniye, the Esenler Cultural Center, the Panorama 1453 History Museum and the Mall Of Istanbul Shopping Mall.
The new branch of bookstores, which booklovers are closely acquainted with, will also sell products by Hediyem Istanbul, a new souvenir brand from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's cultural enterprise Kültür A.Ş. Hediyem Istanbul, which was founded by Kültür A.Ş. to design Istanbul-themed souvenirs. The brand's collection features originally-designed souvenirs reflecting Istanbul's authentic history, culture and artistic hallmarks. These original designs, which have been created to contribute to Istanbul's brand value, stands out for its wide product range. It is possible to find any souvenir object at Hediyem Istanbul, from hand-made art to replicas, decorative products, glass, porcelain and ceramic products.
