Open until May 31, the International Istanbul Autoshow 2015 welcomed over 225,000 visitors in its first four days including press and VIP days, breaking a record. Over 10,000 cars were sold on the spot. Organized after a two-and-a-half year hiatus, International Istanbul Autoshow also stands out for the high demand for luxury cars. New models of luxury automobile brands such as Jaguar, Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Jeep and Land Rover, with prices ranging from 100,000 euros (TL 286,000) to 675,000 euros (1.9 million TL), were sold in a heartbeat in the first four days. During the same period, three Aston Martins, two Lexus, 90 Audis, 89 BMWs, seven Jaguars, six Porsches, 14 Land Rovers, four Jeeps, one Ferrari and one Maserati were sold. The automobile industry has reached its record sales rate of all time and continues to gain speed by growing 57 percent in the first four months of 2015.
