Magnitude 6.0 quake hits Papua New Guinea
A magnitude-6.0 earthquake struck the Pacific country of Papua New Guinea early Monday morning, the US Geological survey said.
The quake hit a western region of the country's main island of New Guinea.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
Some 50 people were killed in a 7.5-magnitude quake in the region a week ago.
