Hoping to offer a fresh take on the traditional gallery scene, Gallery Bohem in Istanbul will bring together 32 artists for an exhibition to benefit the "Let's Keep Little Feet Warm" Foundation, which helps students in need throughout Turkey.
All proceeds from the sales of the paintings by Akife Dekeli, Atila Aktürk, Ayşe Özalp, Burcu Erkal Salman, Bersen Özkan, Celalettin Tandoğdu, Çağdaş İlim, Derya Tatari, Dünya Dural, Emel Dilara Okkacı, Esra Meral Demircan, Fatma Savaş, Ferhan Atalay, Hakan Sarıhan, Halit Aker, Handan Çetin, Hülya Botasun, Işıl Dural, İclal Erentürk Güçsav, Kadir Arslan, Korkut Tiryaki, Mihriban Yılmaz, Müge Süel, Nergis Soydaner, Neslihan Laçin, Nilüfer İnaltong, Nurgül Ulu Öztürk, Rana Sirkecioğlu, Semra Hasgüleç, Sevil Özüpek, Sıla Güven and Sinan Aslan will be donated to the foundation dedicated to helping children. The exhibition "Let's Keep Little Feet Warm and Surround Them with Love" will be open from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2.
On Dec. 29, 12 children from the foundation will spend time with one of the event's artists, Burcu Erkal Salman, who will be visiting Gallery Bohem for the "New Year Art Event." The youngsters will have the chance to paint with Salman and take home souvenir sketch books and paint sets to continue their creativity on their own.
