Creative music meets technology at Sonar Istanbul


Organized by Zorlu Performing Arts Center in collaboration with Charm Music, "Sonar Istanbul," one of Europe's most prestigious music festivals, will be held on March 24-25.Within the framework of the festival that brings music, creativity and technology together, Moderat, Roisin Murphy, Nina Kraviz, Floating Points, Clark, Kode9, Weval and Tim Hecker will perform. Vildan Gündüz, Style-ist, Büber, Villette, Fasitdaire, İpek Görgün & Biblo, Mabbas, Seretan, Fuchs & Cervus and Doğu Orcan will also take the stage at Sonar Istanbul, which gives local artists a chance to perform on a global platform.The Sonar+D section of the event will feature audiovisual performances and panels in which important topics in culture and technology will be discussed, as well as exhibiting sound installations and workshops.Different from most festivals in Turkey, the event was first held in Barcelona in 1994. Having been organized 55 times in 27 different cities to date, Sonar hosts the evolution of the world of culture and art and creativity that stretches out to the future.
