Young talents to shine at Mamut Art Project


The participants for the Mamut Art Project (MAP) 2016 have been announced. From nearly 1000 applicants, 52 young artists have been chosen. Works by the young talents will be displayed during MAP 2016 at Dolmabahçe Küçükçiftlik Park from April 14-17.Each spring, MAP brings together the works of young talented artists at an exquisite exhibition. The MAP 2016 jury of Banu Gündoğdu, Ömer M. Koç, Erinç Seymen, Ali Şimşek and Fatoş Üstek have chosen 52 artists from among 955 applications coming from the Unites States, Iran, Germany, Sweden, England, Poland and Ukraine, as well as Turkey.The chosen works include new media, installation, performance, illustration, photography, sound installation, street art, sculpture, video, printing, painting, bio-art works, digital and interactive projects. In addition, MAP 2016 will also host a two-day workshop as well as a series of special performances within the framework of the event.
