The U.S. Secret Service paid an Ohio man a personal visit after a Facebook comment regarding the presidential race in the Unites States, NBC Chicago reported on Thursday.Gary Barry said he saw a post on Facebook, which read "Hillary and Bernie… Sunday at OSU." Then he told NBC 5's Columbus affiliate WCMH that he jokingly wrote "Where do I send the bomb?"As soon as he posted the comment, local Facebook users were involved in a fiery debate, and were set to welcome the candidates for a debate in Columbus last week.The NBC Chicago cited Barry as saying he thought nothing of it; however later his son called him, saying two armed men were waiting for him at their front door. Barry told WCMH that he thought it was just a joke, but then he saw they were actually waiting for him to get home. According to NBC Chicago, the agents sat him down with his wife and Barry said the men asked him almost everything about his life, such as his background, family and if he had ever planned or thought about assassinating the president. Barry also added that the agents told him to watch what he wrote on social media.WCMH said a local Secret Service agent confirmed the incident, and said it was "standard procedure for social media threats on the presidential candidates."Barry wrote another post on Facebook, giving advice, and said "Do not post negative political comments on Facebook or you might get a visit from the secret service like I did today."
