Obama, Cuban leader Castro to meet on Saturday

US President Barack Obama and Cuban leader Raul Castro will have a "discussion" on the second day of the Summit of the Americas on Saturday, a White House official said. "We certainly do anticipate that they will have the opportunity to see each other at the summit tomorrow," senior Obama adviser Ben Rhodes told reporters Friday. "We do expect (them to have) a discussion tomorrow," he added. Rhodes said the extent of the meeting has yet to be decided but that the two leaders "will be able to take stock" about the negotiations to normalize relations and reopen embassies, as well as discuss lingering "differences" between the two nations. In a phone call the two leaders held on Wednesday, they discussed the ongoing negotiations as well as the upcoming summit, he said."They reviewed the fact that we are going to continue to have areas of common cooperation but also areas of difference," Rhodes sad.
