An Air Algerie passenger flight from the Algerian capital, Algiers to Marseille landed safely on Saturday afternoon after reportedly declaring an emergency mid air and disappearing from radar at some 7000 meters altitude.
The Boeing 737-600 passenger plane took off from Algiers but made an emergency call shortly after take-off, online flight tracking sources said.
Meanwhile, reports have also said that the flight disappearing from online tracking sources maybe a technical tracking issue and that the aircraft may not be missing.
