Turkish Airlines flight stuck at Jordan airport takes off

A Turkish Airlines aircraft that got stuck at the airport of Jordan's capital Amman because of extreme weather conditions has now taken off, the Turkish embassy in Amman said Friday.
The flight TK-0815, carrying Turkish Education Minister Nabi Avci, remained on the ground for about seven hours.
Avci was in Amman for official meetings.
The plane took off at 9.40 a.m. after snow was cleared off the runways.
