The Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office issued on Sunday arrest warrants for 44 high-ranking public administrators, including governors, as part of a nationwide probe against the Gülenist Terror Organization (FETÖ).
So far, 33 suspects were detained, while 11 suspects are being sought after by police units.
The properties of the suspects are also being searched for evidence related with the investigation.
The suspects include central governors — who were earlier removed from active provincial duty — deputy governors, legal advisors and civil inspectors working at the Ministry of Interior.
