An X-ray technician in central Turkey was shocked when she saw the jewelry she owned on the X-ray image of a patient's rectum. The patient, identified as 24-year-old Ö.A., was one of two thieves who broke into her house earlier that day.
The unidentified X-ray technician in the Beyşehir district of Konya province was assigned for the imaging of Ö.A., after the police suspected that the man they caught in the aftermath of the break-in might be hiding something inside his body, because of his "peculiar" walk.
The truth was revealed when the X-ray imaging detected two gold rings, two gold earrings and two necklaces deposited up his anal cavity. The technician recognized the jewelry's specific embellishments, and was shocked to learn that her house was broken into when she asked the police where they found the suspect. Ö.A. and his accomplice O.D., who had a lengthy criminal record of theft, were arrested following the discovery.
