'A Night with Mozart' performed by Turkish and Greek youth musicians

Composed of Turkish and Greek youth musicians, the Greek Turkish Youth Orchestra will perform at Koç University today. According to a university statement, Maestro Cem Mansur will conduct "A Night with Mozart," which will take place in Odeon Hall. The concert, where clarinet player Pavlos Seassis will perform as the soloist, will feature Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite," Beethoven's "7th Symphony," Schubert's "Unfinished Symphony," Dvorak's "9th Symphony,"
Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" and Smetana's "La Molau" along with Skalkottas' "Selection of Greek Dances" and Erkin's "Turkish Dances." The orchestra, which was formed to bring together young Turkish and Greek musicians, has drawn many art and music lovers to concert halls for the past six years. The concert is free of charge.
